I remember the shaper, Todd Holland, on the ASP Tour-he rips. That little twin fin board reminds me of the tow-in surfboards they use on huge waves, as they're also scaled down. I think that both the Surfstream surfboards and tow-in surfboards can be smaller due to the fact that the surfers never need to paddle on them. I can't wait to see the next Surfstream wave!

Comment on The SurfStream Prototype 2004

Is it possible for you guys to make a wake board version? I timed him at 24 seconds on his first real ride. 24 seconds! That is absolutely incredible. A seasoned surfer would be absolutely stoked to find a glassy wall he could ride for that long. For some reason this reminded me of Cape St. Francis in the Endless Summer movie.

I guess "Bruce's Beauties" won't just be in South Africa anymore now that perfect endless waves can be made anywhere. Viva el Surfstream!

Comment on SurfStream spreads across the Internet

That looks like great fun. It's pretty amazing that a complete novice surfer can actually be up and riding so quickly on this wave machine. I can't wait to see the "Tubetime" in the Caribbean video come online.
